Character building alludes to the idea that the humanization of man is understood as the subject becomes aware of the interdependence between its multiple dimensions and the cosmos. The proposition is that work and career are considered educational opportunities since they can contribute to the humanization of the individual. The texts used for the literature review were about human formation and career. The work is an exploratory study, and semistructured interviews collect the data. The article describes experiences considered to promote character building in career development.
