Composição da fauna associada à Ulva spp Delile (Ulvales, Ulvaceae) em três áreas do litoral do estado do Espírito Santo, Brasil

Resumo


O fital Ulva spp. da Ilha do Frade e Praia de Camburi, Município de Vitória e da Praia de Capuba, Município de Fundão, Espírito Santo foi estudado visando  caracterizar e avaliar as diferenças locais na composição de suas comunidades. As amostras de algas dos três pontos foram coletadas trimestralmente, de maio de 2005 a fevereiro de 2006. Os parâmetros físico-químicos da água como salinidade, temperatura e oxigênio dissolvido foram medidos in situ. Um total de 8.203 indivíduos foram coletados. Moluscos, crustáceos e poliquetos foram os grupos mais abundantes. As espécies mais abundantes foram os anfípodas Elasmopus brasiliensis, Cimadusa filosa, Apohyale media, os gastrópodos Amphitalamus vallei, Crepidula sp. e Tricolia affinis, o tanaidáceo Leptochelia sp. e os poliquetos Capitellidae, Pseudonereis sp. e Syllidae. A maior abundância total e densidade de organismos foi encontrada na Praia de Camburi. A Ilha do Frade apresentou os maiores valores de riqueza, diversidade e equitabilidade de espécies onde também foram encontrados os maiores valores de matéria orgânica na água e no sedimento.
