History of the Game Bingo

The most beloved gambling game has a history that dates back to 16th century Italy where the lottery game Lo Giuoco del Lotto dItalia was introduced. The very popular game of chance came to North America only in the late 1920s with the name Beano. It was a toy salesperson from New York who was responsible for changing the name of the game into Bingo and increase of its popularity throughout the US. Back in the 18th century, the original Italian lotto game was introduced to France. Historical evidence shows that a game called Let Lotto was popular among the French high society who used to play the game in parties and social gatherings.

Le Lotto was played with special cards having three rows and nine columns. Each of the three columns has 10 numbers, and each column has five random numbers and four blank spaces in it. One night in his Beano party, a stuttering girl shouted Bingo instead of Beano, and that made Lowe start a new game called Bingo. From then on, people loved the game of Bingo and Online Bingo and they even use it to raise funds!
