His angels

Dishonest people

His truth

Proverbs 12:19 says this: " Truth stands the test of time; lies are soon exposed." Have you ever told a lie and were then found out? Have you ever noticed how things that are true are told over and over again through every generation whereas most lies fizzle out over time? These are truths that will never go away, but will always stand the test of time. Unfortunately, most of us can say,"Yes", to this question. Here's another question. For example, it is true that God made you, God loves you and God will always take care of all your needs.

But have you ever heard of fruit of the spirit pie? This Bible game also might make your kids a little hungry. You might have even heard of shoo-fly pie. Here is a Bible school activity that will help your kids memorize one of the most loved verses of the bible verses about love, Galatians 5:22, which says: "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

I know you've heard of apple pie and peach pie.

Pick one child from each team to be the one who is dressed. Have them stand in front of the class. (Wait for responses.) Did you guys know that God cares about how you clothe yourself? (Wait for responses.) Why do you think those clothes are so cool? (Wait for response.) Well, believe it or not, He does. Today, we are going to memorize this Bible verse by playing a fun game called "Clothe Yourselves." Here's how we play. Now say the following: Name some brand names of clothes that you really like. Divide your class into 2 teams. We have two teams and one from each team will eventually be dressed in all of the clothes that you see here. The kids will get a kick out of seeing how big they are.) One person from each team will get a chance to come up and say the Bible verse. Whatever number he lands on, is the article of clothing he gets to dress his teammate in. If a six is rolled, you get to choose a piece that is not being worn yet. (Hold up each article of clothing. If he does so correctly, he will get to roll this die. If you do not say the verse correctly, you sit down and the play goes to the next team. And I am going to prove it to you. Listen to Colossians 3:12 which says, "As God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." I don't think you'll find any of these clothes at the mall, but you can find them by getting to know God and by becoming more like Him. The first team to get their teammate dressed is the winner. Let's have some fun!

The Bible was written by about 40 men over a period of about 1600 years dating from 1500 BC to about 100 years after Christ. These men wrote this Scripture as they were given inspiration by God.
