Princess Charlotte is 'a little leader', says body language expert

"Riley Mcclellan" (2020-07-28)

Princess Charlotte is a 'little leader' and 'just as competitive as her mother Kate MIddleton', while Prince George took cues from his sister during the Clap for Carers last night, a body language expert has said.

The Duke, 37, and Duchess of Cambridge, 38, stood alongside their children yesterday as they led the applause for key workers from their Norfolk country home, Amner Hall.

While Prince Louis was attached to Kate's hip, Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, were ushered out the front door by their parents, with the latter instigating the clapping.

Body language expert semangat88 situs judi deposit pulsa James told FEMAIL that the four-year-old Princess appears to be 'the little leader in the family dynamic' after starting the applause, while her brother glanced at his family for approval before putting his hands together.

Judi said: 'Charlotte does appear to be something of the little leader in the family dynamic, stepping to the front of the pose with her parents interestingly out of eye-line and instigating the clapping, using what looks like the most energy and excitement.

'Charlotte has always been the one who seems the most enthusiastic about waving and clapping to the public, and her meet and greet with the crowds at Christmas suggested Kate and William might acknowledge the fact that she is currently the most confident of their children in social situations.

'She also looks as competitive as her mother, as she seems to be putting the most energy into her clapping here.'

The expert added: 'She does look back eventually to check her parents are there and that they are approving and joining in, but not as much as her brother George.

'He not only eye-checks his parents, but also glances at Charlotte before clapping as though taking his lead from her.

'George does duck his head to get out first, but once he's there he seems a lot more mindful of cues from his parents and even his sister than Charlotte does herself.'

The family marked the weekly Clap for Carers by wearing NHS blue, with Kate putting on a stylish display in an £129 floral dress by Ghost.

The Anouk Dress, features fabric-covered buttons all the way down and romantic ruffles along the collar and hem, and is currently on sale for £90.30 and in stock.

Wearing her hair perfectly blow-dried and accessorising with drop earrings, she matched Prince William, who coordinated in a blue sweater and shirt.

Taking after her mother, little Princess Charlotte was also seen wearing a pale blue paisle cotton dress, while Prince Louis wore navy shorts, a collared shirt and dark blue jumper.

Prince George, mirroring his father in blue slacks, wore a check shirt much like the one Louis wore in his birthday pictures.

A clip of the family applauding was shared by Kensington Palace on their social media accounts last night and also appeared during the BBC's Big Night In show.
