What To Expect If You See The Latest Movies in Theaters

If you plan on seeing the latest movies in theaters, you should expect to see the last few summer releases being issued by Hollywood, before the fall slate of new films comes out. While there are not expected to be any blockbusters on the schedule, there are still some very worthwhile summer films to be seen, and some of these are well worth your attention and your patronage. This is one of the better family films to come out this summer, and one of the best movies in theaters currently. It features Milo Ventimiglia as a Formula One race car driver who learns that many of the skills he's acquired through his driving profession are applicable to his life away from the track as well. The voice of his dog companion is supplied by Kevin Costner, which makes for some interesting interplay between dog and master, especially given the fact that the dog's fondest wish is to be reincarnated as a human.

Brian Banks

This film is based on the true story of Brian Banks, who was a high school football star convicted of raping a young woman in 2002. He consistently maintained his innocence, but was incarcerated nonetheless. After enlisting the aid of the California Innocence Project, his conviction was finally overturned a decade later, 토렌트 사이트 추천 and he was found to be innocent of all charges. Aldis Hodge stars as the movie's namesake and provides a great performance which makes this story very believable and very heart-warming.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold

The beloved animated children's series finally makes it to the big screen as a live-action film that provides plenty of entertainment and remains true to the original television series. Isabela Moner stars as Dora, with parents Eva Longoria and Michael Pena, and a plot centering on Dora's navigation through high school rather than the jungle. Soon enough though, Dora is obliged to return to the jungle to rescue her parents, and to become involved with finding a lost Incan civilization.

What You Gonna do When the World's on Fire?

Documentary film maker Robero Minervini takes a close look at life in Louisiana, from the viewpoint of two half-brothers who live there, and have vastly different lives. He skillfully weaves in story lines involving the Mardi Gras, a notorious bar owner, and the new Black Panther Party. Altogether, these stories offer a picture of racial tensions in the city, as well as a sketch about how times are changing in New Orleans and the state.

Where'd You Go, Bernadette?

Cate Blanchett plays the role of a woman in Seattle who goes missing, and much of the ensuing story revolves around efforts to uncover clues relative to her disappearance. Told through a series of emails, texts, FBI documents, letters, and even correspondence with a psychiatrist, this is one of those movies in theaters which adopts a totally different approach to story-telling. Compelling and well-acted, the movie is well worth the price of admission.
