African missions in Europe: the case of Cape Verdean Nazarenes in Portugal

This article aims to analyse the dynamics of the African missionization in the European continent. To this end, I will discuss, in particular, the emergence and expansion of the Church of the Nazarene in Portugal, as well as the impacts that the predominance of Cape Verdean pastors have had on the constitution of Nazarene Protestantism in the Portuguese context.
