Wouter J. Hanegraaff (1961) é professor de História da Filosofia Hermética e Correntes Correlatas na Universidade de Amsterdã. Entre seus livros estão New Age Religion and Western Culture (1996), Dictionary of Gnosis and Western Esotericism (ed., 2005) e Esotericism and the Academy: Rejected Knowledge in Western Culture (2012).
