FROM THE LOGIC OF THE CAPITAL TO THE “LOGIC” OF CAPITAL: CRITICAL NOTES TO HELMUT REICHELT

Abstract

This article critically discusses the main lines of Helmut Reichelt's thinking concerning the Marxian category of capital. To Reichelt that category would have a logical character, as it is recorded in one of his works recently translated between us: On the Logical Structure of the Concept of Capital in Karl Marx. The approach in question is contrasted with the provisions of the Marxian text itself. Thus, it will be possible to determine how much the German scholar approaches the theoretical standard that delimits in Marx the meanings of the categories that describe the mode of production of capital and its scientific critique.
