The article presents the general characteristics of the pragmatic turn of language, especially as they are approached in Ludwig Wittgenstein's philosophy. It also presents the way the main theses of the pragmatic turn of language have influenced Michel de Certeau's view of the historiographical narrative, as it appears in his book The practice of everyday life. The hypothesis is that the way Michel de Certeau dialogues theoretically with the second Wittgenstein opens up challenges and perspectives for the historiographical narrative, ones that go far beyond empiricist limitations.Downloads
