Global History emerges with its anti-hegemonic aspiration, which aims to overcome methodological nationalism and Eurocentrism. Thus, it resembles the emancipatory character of gender and sexuality studies, intending a relational apprehension of the research objects. Despite programmatic parallels, these two fields barely intersected. In this work, we propose a theoretical-methodological effort that connects these perspectives, underlining the potential that such dialogue announces. Therefore, we focus on the results of a research on the protagonisms of homosexual movements in Brazil and East Germany within a global network of resistance.
