Crisis of the history or crisis of the historians in the linguistic turn: the Brazilian case.

Abstract

The crisis of the history promoted by the linguistic turn is analysed like a crisis of the historians. These historians in crisis insist on a mistake. They use analytical strange instruments to the historical thought. In this crisis there is a conception of language that needs to be revised by the history. For so much, an appeal is done here to notions resulted from the semiology of the discursive practices. The objective is to present a set of concepts that are more efficient and adapted for the historical inquiry.
