Systematic assessment and management of the innovative potential of an enterprise in the context of the evolutionary theory of production factors

The article is devoted to the study of the essence and features of managing the innovative potential of an enterprise in the conditions of a modern economy. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and clarify the content of the category “innovative potential of an enterprise”, as well as to develop approaches to its assessment and increase the efficiency of management. The paper considers the relationship between the concept of innovative potential and other categories of the theory of innovation management, which made it possible to determine its place in the system of strategic development of an enterprise. Based on the analysis of scientific approaches, the content of the concept of “innovative potential of an enterprise” as a comprehensive characteristic of the capabilities of a business entity to create, implement and commercialize innovations is clarified. Considerable attention is paid to identifying the main barriers to the implementation of innovative potential, among which resource, organizational, institutional and informational restrictions are identified. The innovative potential of an enterprise is considered as an object of management that requires a systematic approach and the use of modern management tools. The article proposes an approach to assessing the innovative potential of an enterprise, which is based on the analysis of key components and indicators of its development. Based on the results obtained, recommendations were developed to improve the management of the innovative potential of the enterprise, aimed at increasing the efficiency of innovative activities and ensuring the sustainable development of enterprises in a competitive environment.
