Abstract

This paper presents a study about the relative importance of some explainable variables to the inequality income among people engaged in agricultural sector of Brazil and its geographical areas, with informations of the PNAD-1999. It’s occurred that the static decomposition of the inequality index, Theil L. It’s evidenced that the position of the occupation has considerable role, emphatic and ratifying the previous tenure of wealth importance and ownership of the productions ways, in the formation of labour incomes in the sector. Through a model of an income equation it’s obtained the marginal contribution of the explainable variables for the inequality and it’s occurred that the discussion of the differentiation of the incomes associates to them.
