The approach in this essay is about questions that are inherent to Idea of collaboration in contemporary art, thinking about the specificities which are referred to the beholder. Though, we question the established relations of the condition subject/I and the confronts that grow for the construction of the work and of the work itself, in the relation established from the confront | encounter of the other and myself. Those encounters are taken in here by the works of Santiago Sierra and Minerva Cuevas, since de 1990’s. We had thought about the word collaboration, in the way as imposition forms may be directed to situations where the act of collaboration takes new senses. This relations has its bases in theories that are generated from The author as a producer, of Walter Benjamin; in contemporary art this questions emerged from Claire Bishop’s reflections The social turn.
