O HESICASMO: A PRÁTICA DA ORAÇÃO NA ORTODOXIA RUSSA

O presente artigo pretende demonstrar uma das mais antigas práticas do Cristianismo Oriental, muito praticado ainda hoje por cristãos do Oriente Médio, Grécia e principalmente da Rússia, exemplificando ao mundo como ser ortodoxo e estar sempre atento às práticas cristãs. Assim sendo, a Oração Perpétua ou Oração do Coração foi e é ainda em algumas regiões, não só da Rússia, mas também de outras regiões do Leste Europeu uma prática constante na qual o cristão ortodoxo daquelas paragens procura sua comunhão pessoal com o Cristo, o mesmo Cristo que introduziu tal prática espiritual quando se afastou para orar no deserto por quarenta dias e quarenta noites.Downloads
