Foco é um romance escrito em 1945 por Arthur Miller, um dos mais importantes escritores americanos. Nessa obra, Miller representa as tensões e paradoxos que dominavam as relações étnicas nos Estados Unidos da década de 40. A partir de um antissemita que passa a ser confundido com um judeu, o autor explora os mecanismos do preconceito e as questões de identidade e alteridade no seio da sociedade americana. Esse artigo se propõe a identificar e analisar tais elementos dentro da narrativa, proporcionando um panorama das questões de identidade neste romance.Downloads
