A FÁBULA “O LOBO E O CORDEIRO” À LUZ DA PERSPECTIVA DIALÓGICA DA LINGUAGEM

The present work proposes to analyze the attitudes of the characters in the fable “The Wolf and the Lamb” from a dialogic perspective of language, based on the concepts employed by the Bakhtin Circle, especially in “Marxism and the Philosophy of Language” (VOLÓCHINOV, 2018 [1929]). It is argued that, as in the discursive genre "fable" in general, the dialogue between the Wolf and the Lamb, the progression of facts and the outcome following the conflict are the materialization of concrete dialogic relations of the extraverbal world, and that both animals are personified based on social types potentially existing in the real world. Finally, it is understood that the power of dialogical relationships, which make the plot of the narrative possible, must be sufficiently clear, as a necessary condition for a critical and dialogical reading, especially in the school environment.
