Abstract

This paper aims to provide information and recommendations on policy and strategy to develop and strengthen micro and small enterprises (MSEs) to overcome informality. Specifically the study seeks to: assess the current situation and the nexus of the informal sector of the Bolivian MSEs economy in order to draw conclusions and propose strategies that enable these companies increase their effectiveness of operations, considering the external and internal causes that might affect their correct performance, and suggestions about government policies which may be considered beneficial for a rapidly development.
