Abstract

As predicted by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) at the end of 2018, the Brazilian State demanded the priority work of the organ during 2018 to 2022, when record of activities were carried out by the organ involving Brazil, both in the petition and case system and in the monitoring of the human rights situation in the country. This is what can be observed from the methodological survey and analysis of the public data made available by the IACHR on its official website. The intense work of the IACHR during the period was as historic as it was necessary for the progress of the human rights situation in the country in the following years.
