Abstract

The present work presents as its central theme a critical-reflective discussion regarding the use of digital technologies in contemporary society. Thus, it highlights the main objective of verifying whether these act as a definitive tool in the reconfiguration of human and social relations, promoting sensitive changes and ruptures. Likewise, it is important to verify the impact of media exposure in the scope of fundamental rights, and the need to protect them. In this regard, he used the writings advocated by Zygmunt Bauman and Guy Debord as a theoretical framework. As a methodology, the hypothetical-deductive method of approach was used, the method of functionalist procedure, in addition to employing the technique of bibliographical and documental research.

Graduated in Law from the Franciscan University Center (UNIFRA), currently Franciscan University (UFN). Substitute Professor of the Law Course, Economic Sciences Course, Public Management Course and International Relations Course at the Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA), Campus Santana do Livramento, public notice n 239/2020, from March 2021 to February 2023.
