The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games: an analysis correlated with the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination.

This present article dwelled in to make an analysis about the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, which imposed many restriction rules around the world, including in events, like the Olympic Games as well as well as accentuating the striking differences between the nations participating in the Games in terms of advancing the vaccination of athletes. This research was made with an analysis of historic articles and many importants legal concepts in Sporty law and International law in order to support the understandings reached. The results achieved were based on the understanding that both the historicity of the Games and its current points work towards understanding the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Furthermore, the vaccination of Brazilian Olympic and Paralympic athletes not only benefits them, but affects the entire Brazilian society, and finally, reaches the Olympics. The COVID-19 Pandemic encompassed glaring complications in several events, among them the Olympic Games, which due to the size of their scale, need a deeper analysis, despite the advance of vaccination and the differences between the nations participating in the Games , demonstrating the topicality of the topic in Sports Law in conjunction with International Law.
