Transexualismo e psicanálise: considerações para além da gramática fálica normativa

Resumo: Este trabalho propõe uma investigação teórica acerca do transexualismo, buscando instrumentos da teoria psicanalítica que possam abrir novas possibilidades de compreensão do fenômeno para além do campo da patologia. Inicialmente, expõe sua defi nição clássica e a distinção diagnóstica de quadros clínicos próximos. Trata do desenvolvimento da identidade sexual segundo Freud e segundo Stoller, que importou para a psicanálise a noção de gênero. Discorre sobre a clínica que relega o transexualismo ao campo da patologia sustentada pelas teorias de Stoller e de alguns psicanalistas lacanianos. Aborda a teoria de gênero de Butler e as questões que endereça à psicanálise de cunho estrutural, que ratifi caria a visão patologizante dos gêneros ininteligíveis prevalecente na cultura heteronormativa da modernidade. Como forma de se contrapor à clínica lacaniana que restringe o transexualismo à psicose, este artigo trabalha as noções psicanalíticas de estádio do espelho, Verleugnung e semblante. Finalmente, contempla o registro do real, privilegiado nos últimos momentos da obra lacaniana, e o papel determinante do objeto a na sexualidade humana. Com a noção de sinthoma, o caráter patologizante da clínica psicanalítica é esvaziado: a direção é a singularidade de cada sujeito. Consequentemente, a psicanálise lacaniana se desvencilha da heteronormatividade, abrindo lugar para a legitimação de novas manifestações da sexualidade. Abstract: Th is article propounds a theoretical investigation into transsexuality by seeking instruments from the psychoanalytic theory to open up new possibilities of understanding the phenomenon beyond the fi eld of pathology. At fi rst, this article states the classic definition of transsexuality and the diagnostic distinction of approximate clinical pictures. It addresses the development of sexual identity according to Freud and Stoller, the latter of whom brought the notion of gender to psychoanalysis. It deals with clinical psychoanalysis, which relegates transsexuality to the fi eld of pathology based on the theories of Stoller and some Lacanian psychoanalysts. It approaches Butler’s theory of gender as well as issues of structural psychoanalysis, which would verify the pathologizing view of prevailing unintelligible genders in our modern-day heteronormative culture. As a way of opposing Lacanian clinical psychoanalysis, which restricts transsexuality to psychosis, this article works on the psychoanalytic notions of mirror stage, Verleugnung, and semblance. Finally, it accommodates the real, which was favored in the last phase of the Lacanian work, as well as the defi ning role of the object in human sexuality. With the notion of sinthome, the pathologizing nature of clinical psychoanalysis is gutted: the direction is the uniqueness of each subject. As a result, Lacanian psychoanalysis frees itself from heteronormativity, thereby giving room to the legitimation of new expressions of sexuality.
