The racism in Brazilian soccer

The discussion about racism in Brazilian soccer grows every day, but the theme has been present in the sport since its birth, just like the ball and the boots. With the intention of encouraging conversations with more information, the Observatory of Racial Discrimination in Soccer releases the Annual Report on Racial Discrimination in Soccer with data on cases of racism throughout the season. The purpose of this article is to analyze these elements to draw a simple overview of the racist attacks that permeate national soccer and show how black people are seen in sport.
