About the Journal
Presentation
The CINTEC Scientific Journal, ISSN 2965-8314, publishes unpublished, high-quality Opinion Articles and Technological Reports that address Innovation and Technology, from national or foreign researchers and professionals in the area of Accounting and Management.
The focus is on the dissemination of two types of production:
Opinion articles, with the authors being invited professionals, from Brazil and abroad, with notable knowledge in the area.
Technological reports focusing on the development of projects, products or the application of knowledge; therefore, in this section, essays or reflections that are merely theoretical are not accepted, nor bibliometric research or the application of statistical models, without clear practical applicability.
Focus and Scope
The Journal has three sections, which are as follows:
1. Editorials: Aiming to publicize the policies and updates about the journal and highlight the issues of the Journal.
3. Opinion articles: Written by guest professors that are based on theory, but highlighting the analysis of professionals with renowned knowledge. These articles consist of only one per issue, are not subject to peer review and have a free format, and may be theoretical constructions or literature reviews.
3. Technological Reports: With the development of innovative research or projects. Innovation can be recorded through new theories, development of old theories or application of old theories in new situations in order to solve institutional problems. All Technological Reports are subject to peer review as described below:
Peer Review Process
Articles are sent to two reviewers (double blind review), ensuring confidentiality and anonymity for both the author(s) and the reviewers. The reviewers analyze the originality of the subject, the contribution to the field, the treatment presented, the clarity of the writing, and the standardization of citations and bibliographic references. If one of the reviews is positive (with or without modifications) and the other is negative, the Editor resorts to a third reviewer to resolve the impasse. Only articles approved by at least two reviewers are published.
Frequency
The Journal is published twice a year, with one volume published annually in two issues. Publications occur in May and November of each year.
Open Access Policy
This journal offers immediate open access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater global democratization of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and allows them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration. https://www.lockss.org/.
History of the journal
The journal is an online journal, created in 2023, with the objective of disseminating quality work in the area of Accounting Sciences and Management. The difference is the fact that Technological Reports value the application and solution of problems, uniting the universe of research with the corporate environment.
The Journal is the result of a partnership between the Professional Master's Degree in Accounting Sciences, Controllership and Finance of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and the Institute of Accountants of BRAZIL (ICBR).
Fees charged by the journal
The Revista Científica CINTEC does not charge for any of its services; therefore, there are no fees for submission, review, revision or publication.

All articles are checked for plagiarism using the CopySpider ando Plagius.

The CINTEC Scientific Journal supports the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).
