Reflexão sobre o contexto e a singularidade de Dt 30,11-14

Resumo

Tudo o que Moisés recebeu do Senhor, ele transmitiu ao povo como um pai que, antes de morrer, deixa a sua herança para o filho. Como o pai continua vivo no filho, Moisés estará vivo na herança deixada ao “novo Israel”. A boca e o coração de Moisés – que serviram ao Senhor, em todo o processo de libertação e condução pelo deserto até às portas de Canaã – passam, pela ordem-palavra do Senhor, à boca e ao coração do “novo Israel”. Este artigo subdivide-se em: considerações preliminares (processo de formação do livro de Deuteronômio); três partes: 1) tradução segmentada do texto a partir do hebraico, com algumas notas de crítica textual; 2) texto dentro do seu contexto (Dt 28,69–30,20), justificando a sua delimitação; 3) singularidade de Dt 30,11-14; considerações finais (abertura para a missão de Josué como sucessor de Moisés). Quanto à metodologia seguida, foram usados alguns elementos da abordagem diacrônica e sincrônica.

Leonardo Agostini Fernandes, PUC-RIO

Sacerdote do clero secular da Arquidiocese de São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro. Docente de Sagrada Escritura do Departamento de Teologia da PUC-Rio e do ISTARJ.
