Abstract

Since the creation of the Emergency Plan in 1962, on the eve of the Vatican Council II, the Church in Brazil has been working to prepare priests, religious and laity for the renewal of the Church itself. With the innovations brought by the documents of the Vatican II and the conclusions of the Latin American Bishops Conference, the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) opens to a more significant inclusion of the laity in the life and mission of the Church. This active participation of the laity will be present in all documents of the Church’s pastoral action, through the Pastoral Plans Set, reaching the General Guidelines of the Evangelizer Action of the Church in Brazil.

Professor daárea de Teologia Pastoral da Faculdade João Paulo II, de Marília-SP.

Prof. Dr. Maurilio Alves Rodrigues

Sacerdote da Diocese de Assis - SP. Possui graduação em Filosofia, graduação em Teologia,mestrado em História pela UNESP (Assis-SP), mestrado em Teologia pela UniversitéCatholique de Louvain (Bélgica) e doutorado em Ciências Religiosas pela École Pratiquedes Hautes Études – Sorbonne (França). Professor da área de História da Igreja Modernae Contemporânea e Diretor da Faculdade João Paulo II, de Marília-SP.
