O sacramento da penitência em perspectiva canônica, teológica e pastoral

Abstract

The pastoral practice and the legislation about the Sacrament of Penance are related to the Church, to the confessor and to the penitent. The theme of the faculty is developed to stress the communion between the confessor and the bishop. The confessor, wise and prudent minister of the Sacrament, is an instrument of the divine mercy. The penitent, on the other hand, is the one who turns to the divine mercy, chasing happiness and peace for oneself. The three perspectives of this article offer pastoral indications and clues for the formation of the people of God aiming the Sacrament of Forgiveness.
