Abstract

This article would be the beginning of a debate about the person and mission of Joseph, the husband of Mary and Jesus’ Father. He must have an important place in Theology, since on the reports of opening of the Gospels he appears in the spotlight. In Matthew, in a special way, he has the figure of “Fair”, which determines its identity. In its turn, is he who leads to the understanding of the Person and Mission of Jesus in the text of Matthew.
