Abstract

Council Vatican II (1962-1965), had an important one meantfor the call aggiornamento and dialogueof the Church with the world oftoday. The intention of Council waseminently pastoral, with the desire toreread and to reinterpret the Gospelfor our days. In Latin America itlooked for to translate and to applythe Vatican II for its proper realitythrough the Conference of Medellin,and later through Puebla and SantoDomingo. Medellin, Puebla andSanto Domingo had been eclesialevents that have printed the faceof the Latin American Church andits missionary dynamism, mainlythrough the consecrated religiouslife.
