Abstract

The exegetical approach has asbasis the symbols of Deuteronomy5.12-15. This work intends to suggestthat this text would have been constructedfor the hands of the elders ofthe gate, for the land proprietors (‘am‘aretz) of Judah. The thesis of FrankCrüsemann is placed on suspicion, inthe text “Preservation of the Freedom:the Decalogue in a Historical-SocialPerspective” which thinks about thelaws of Deuteronomy as product ofa keeper constituent peoples life.Instead of this, the order would serveto ‘am ‘aretz, but never for the wholepeople of Judah. Shabbat would bean ecological attempt to diminish thedestruction of the land caused by thework with animals in the land of the proprietors, without pretensions of aidto the famous man.
