Abstract

The Eastern church is part ofthe universal church which lives itsfaith (spiritual patrimony and liturgy- sacraments, discipline and theology)in a way that has to do with oneof the five great Eastern traditions(Antioqian, Alexandrian, Constantinople,Caldeian and Armenian), andcontains, or are capable to containseveral diocesan communities gatheredhierarchically under a guide ofa common leader (Patriarch, MajorArchbishop or Metropolitan) electedlegitimately and in communion withRome, who, with his proper synod,is the major superior for all the administrative,legislative and judiciaryissues of the same community.
