Abstract

This present article does a literaryanalysis of the text Biblical textof Mark 10, 46-52 of the New Testament.The text narratives the cure ofBarthimaeus and describes the actionof the person of Barthimaeus andof Jesus’ passage through Jericho.These social subjects exert importantrole that give origin to the constructionof the history of the miracle. Makinguse of the exegetic and hermeneuticmethods which are evident in the experienceof Barthimaeus that reflectsa history of exclusion, cry, resistanceand the hope in relation to the exercisesof self- determination and thetestimony of his faith.
