A Nova Evangelização

Abstract

In this paper seeks to reflect on the fact that the theme of the next Assembly of the Synod, scheduled for October 2012, according to the guidelines (Lineament) published on 07.03.2011, is part of the process of progressive renewal of the Church initiated at Vatican II. The project took shape in subsequent pontificates, and it was becoming increasingly clear through the manifold reception of the Council. The renewal of the Church - the aggiornamento - who spoke John XXIII consist, ultimately, on the revaluation of the Word of God in the life and mission of the Church, which was given finally by John Paul II, the name of new evangelization.
