Abstract

The article, starting with some data offered by history and the Biblical universe, wants to offer a synthetic view on the Christian altar. This vision should offer a few elements that can contribute to the understanding of the altar as a monument but also as a symbol of the sacramental Christ always present to his Church.

Prof. Gabriel Frade, graduado em Filosofia e Teologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Gregoriana (Roma) e Mestre em Liturgia pela Faculdade de Teologia Nossa Senhora da Assunção (SP).
