Abstract

The theme of the role of women in early Christian communities shows how important was the role played by women who took to himself a function defined as the discipleship of equals, that is, men and women as protagonists of the liberating message of the gospel coming from. Thus, we sought to understand these assumptions within the reading of gender, a foundation a understanding from following Jesus of Nazareth who did not respect persons, neither class, religion, culture and much less sex. It may be noted that the very early Christian community welcomed the figure of some women who took an equal role, driven by conversion to the Word of God proclaimed by Jesus Christ, and that greatly contributed to the early Christianity can be lived, and assumed preached among the Jews and pagans at that time.
