Bioética e prática social: um estudo sobre a contribuição entre Pastoral da Criança e bioética

Abstract

The objective of this research is to present the tenets of bioethics of protection and/or intervention as a theoretical basis for reading the proposals of the Children’s Pastoral while examining the proposals of the Children’s Pastoral in light of the bioethics of protection and/or intervention to indicate possible contributions from the Children’s Pastoral and Bioethics in social action. We start from the hypothesis that on its proposals and the development of their work, the Pastoral of the Child brings with it a practice that according to a discourse of bioethics socially marked and committed. Bioethics social as it is present in the actions, the methodology and organization of the Pastoral. Our effort was to try to bring to light those elements enabling a contribution to bioethics from our living situation.
