Abstract

The text suggests as the Plenary Council Latin-American offered a new impulse to the Latin-American Church, promoting, in several Republics of Latin America, a succession of meeting of the episcopate and the clergy, favoring in this way, that religious, the Church Romanization. In the first Diamantine Diocesan Synod document, it is verified that the end of that synod was the correction of the abuses that were depreciating the Churches law as well as the adoption more proper providences to increase the religious life as it was proposed by the Plenary Council of 1899.
