Abstract

The Church constantly reform to better present pastorally. The Paulopolitan Church in the nineteenth century had reformers bishops. Don Lino Deodato Rodrigues de Carvalho in his 21 years of shepherding the Church ahead São Paulo drew a pastoral plan centered on Jesus Christ under the guidance of the Supreme Pontiff. The Diocesan Synod launched lights for greater effectiveness in evangelism in the vast diocese. Bishop relying Seminary opened in 1856, the Synod enacted in 1888 and with many Canonical Parishes Erection can thus effect a proper reform and stand pastorally.
