An ecclesiology called Francis Study of the ecclesiology of Pope Francis from Evangelii Gaudium

Abstract

This article presents some aspects of the ecclesiology of Pope Francis. The very choice of the name Francisco is an indication of the way that the new pope would follow, because in the history of the papacy, in a special way, the choice of the name has been revealing, not only in the sense of honor or remember someone’s virtues, but in the plot, according to the heart of the new Pope, the characterizing elements of its mission.
