The Johannine narrative of the Multiplication of the Loaves takes place during the celebration of the Jewish Passover. Therefore, this solemnity is a reference for the author's proposal. In addition, emphasis is placed on the figures of two disciples, Andrew and Philip, who interact with Jesus during the narrative. Bearing in mind that the narrative of the Multiplication of the Loaves is present in the four Gospels, here we wish to highlight the importance of the Passover Feast and Philip and Andrew. For methodological reasons, only the first fifteen verses of the sixth chapter, which make up the first part of the Johannine narrative, will be worked on.
