Abstract

Study of the theme of the exodus from Egypt and the Israel’s time in the wilderness, according to the prophet Hosea. It builds on the 11:1-11 and identifies, from the consideration of verbal sequences, the steps of history in the text (Exodus, wandering in the wilderness, stay on the land, return to Egypt and new exodus). In sequence, is made an analysis of the theme in this passage. In search of a comprehensive view of the book’s perspective on this subject, texts of 12:10.13-14; 13:4-5 and 2:16-17 are also studied.
