Abstract

These studies focus on the idea of mercy and liberation present in literature of John. Basing in the figure of Maria de Magdala looking for Jesus (Jo 20,1-11ss) and recognition of her Master’s voice that inspire her to follow Him (Jo 10,4), it is intended to analyse, at Paul Ricoeur’s hermeneutics, on the horizon of fundamental theology, mercy as form of gratitude and liberation as form of presence this Another. Taking as hermeneutical principle that the biblical texts can take place in philosophical reflection an these can present as organon at theological reflection, this article defends the importance of discussion about the biblical language’s poetic function and its enlightening power of a new word. Yet it is intended to verify that in the literature of John, on Maria de Magdala’s figure, metaphor of community’s new alliance (Jo 20,16), the carefulness introduce a new type of relationship that makes possible estimate the itself as another and the another as itself, Maria de Magdala, as we propose to analyse, invites us to welcome in a imaginary way that the word Rabbouni/Master which echoes from its mouth is sign of announced restauration (Jo 3,15).
