Abstract

Mission is an important aspect in the life of the Christian Churches and today requires serious reflection. The purpose of this article is to analyze exegetically the text of Lk 10: 1-24 which addresses the theme of the mission in the account of the sending of the disciples in order to perceive their contribution to the understanding of this fundamental aspect of the Christian life. The article is divided into three parts. Firstly, a contextualization of the text in the Gospel according to Luke is made, and then the questions of delimitation and textual criticism; a third point brings the literary analysis and, finally, the resonance of this text in the mission of the Church. This brings us to a new orientation to the complex and current question of the work of Christian churches in an increasingly plural world, including from the religious point of view.
