Group of parents: an experience of mutual comprehension
Abstract
We strongly believe that speech therapy should not be restricted to yhe patient but must also include his-her family. Parents often have doubts and need explanations and advice. At times we know that parental help makes the treatment more effective. Therefore close contact with parents should be very useful. In this article we should like to show that the experience we had in dealing with a group of parents proved to be most enriching for the patients, their parents, speech therapists and advisor.Downloads
