Correspondence course for parents of hearing impaired children of the John Tra

Abstract

This article intends to describe, discuss and analyze partial results of the Correspondence Course for Parents of Deaf Children. Some of the conclusions are: 1) the course is a convenient initiative considering our social, economical and educational reality; 2) the range from 24 up to 35% of deafness causes should be avoided through a vaccine campaign against rubella and meningitis; 3) the participation of deaf children in regular schools is not very significant.
