Abstract
The studies in the field of language acquisition have showed evidences regarding to variations not only in the rate but also in the root to the mastering of language; that is to say, there are lexical, pragmatic, phonologic and even syntactic differences in the earliest periods of language acquisition. These differences bring several implications into the clinical practices, one of them in the diagnosis area, since the recognition of differences in the process of acquisition leads the speech language pathologist to have parameters between disorders and differences which are characterized as normal within this process.Downloads
