Hearing aid by direct bone conduction
Abstract
In the Audiological Laboratory at the National University Hospital Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, 16 patients have been treated with bone anchored hearing aids (BAHA). Nine patients are using the BAHA at hair level, while 7 patients are using BAHA connected to a body worn hearing aid. Even though the fitting of the BAHA is not always optimal, all patients are reporting improved life quality with the BAHA.Downloads
