LITERARY TEXTS AND HAPPINESS: A POSSIBLE RELATION? AN STUDY ON FOREGROUNDING AND FLOW

ResumoThis study aims at investigating the positive feelings one may feel while reading a literary text. The theory of flow (Csiksentmihalyi, 1989; 1990) is used to this purpose, as well as texts in different levels of foregrounding. This study measures the affect students have while reading literary texts.
