A MUDANÇA DE CÓDIGO NO DISCURSO DE CRIANÇAS BILÍNGÜES
ResumoThis study focuses on both structural and pragmatic aspects of codeswitching in the speech production of two bilingual children during their first and second language acquisition processes. The aim is to understand how, when, with whom and why bilingual children alternate languages in the same statement or among speech turns during her/his daily discourse. Although structural aspects are taken into account in this study, the main perspective is that codeswitching is a discourse strategy which communicative ability goes beyond referential information.
